Many children grow up without a father at home. That can make school and life harder, but it does not decide who a boy will become. A steady relationship with good adults can change the direction of a life.
The Ranch is one local response.
We are under contract on 29 acres in Aledo, Parker County, Texas. That is where we hope to begin.
We are planning an after-school ranch for local boys, beginning around ages eleven to fourteen and staying involved as they grow. The work will be free to families. We want to make room first for boys carrying more than a kid should have to carry alone.
The Ranch will offer something simple: dependable adults, a good meal, time to work, train, and talk, and a clear Christian foundation.
Over time, the goal is familiar faces and a dependable place to return to.
If we close on the property, the first step is a practical training space on the land. Sports and strength work give boys a reason to come in the door; relationships are what make them want to return.
